Even if you're not a hockey fan Womens DeSean Jackson Jersey , you know who Wayne Gretzky is. Gretzky's nickname is "The Great One" for a reason. He played in the NHL for 20 seasons for four teams (Edmonton Oilers, Los Angeles Kings, St. Louis Blues, New York Rangers) from 1979 to 1999. Many people consider Gretzky to be the greatest hockey player ever.

Fun fact: Gretzky scored nearly 900 goals (894) in 1,487 NHL games. Even if you took away every single goal he scored, he'd still have more assists than anybody else had in points.

Gretzky held 61 NHL records (40 regular season records, 15 postseason records, six All-Star records) at the time of his retirement in 1999. He was immediately inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame following his retirement. He continues to hold 60 records up to this day. Colorado Avalanche forward and alternate captain Nathan MacKinnon eradicated one of Gretzky's records in his rookie season in 2014. MacKinnon earned a point in his 13th consecutive game for the longest streak ever by an 18-year-old.

Gretzky met his future wife Janet Jones (actress) while serving as a judge on the musical variety series Dance Fever. The couple became engaged in January 1988 and exchanged their vows in a lavish ceremony six months later. The Canadian press called the ceremony "The Royal Wedding." They have five children: Paulina, Ty, Trevor, Tristan and Emma. Aside from Paulina, the other kids seem to be strangers to the limelight.

Here are 15 things Gretzky doesn't want you to know about his kids.
