In a perfect world Mark Lowe Jersey , Brian Orakpo would like to play 25 snaps a game for the Tennessee Titans.

That would mean the Titans have enough talented linebackers on the roster to keep the 10-year veteran fresh rotating between the field and the sideline. Fresher legs all around also would mean more sacks and pressure on quarterbacks for a dominant combination.

Thats how you stay fresh, Orakpo said. Philly did it, New York back in the day with Osi (Umenyiora) and (Michael) Strahan and all of them did it. Thats what its all about. I dont want to be playing 90 snaps a game, who does? If thats what it takes, thats what it takes. But at the same time its all about depth, and we need those guys to step up and I know they will.

Orakpo wants Tennessee to take a cue from the champion Philadelphia Eagles by building enough depth to survive when injuries hit and still be able to make a run at a championship. The Eagles had five key players miss the Super Bowl last February, including quarterback Carson Wentz.

The Titans are working to further strengthen the roster for a deeper playoff run this season with only two real holes to fill in their starting lineup after last year when they went 9-7 .

Running back Derrick Henry, the 2015 Heisman Trophy winner, showed he can replace DeMarco Murray by running for 156 yards in a playoff win at Kansas City in January.

Inside linebacker Avery Williamson left for the Jets as a free agent , and the Titans have a handful of options there.

Tennessee signed inside veteran Will Compton, who started 33 of his 57 games over five seasons with Washington, and also traded up to draft Rashaan Evans of Alabama at No. 22 overall. The Titans also have Jayon Brown Taijuan Walker Jersey , who played extensively in passing downs as a rookie last season.

The Titans also drafted linebacker Harold Landry III at No. 41 overall, and he has gotten plenty of work with the first-team defense with Orakpo nursing a sore shoulder in camp.

Compton, who has been working with the first-team offense so far in camp, played only nine games last season before a Lisfranc injury ended his season. He said the Titans depth, chemistry and leadership helped convince him to join the Titans.

Coming into this locker room, its definitely a player-led team, and those are the teams that can become great, Compton said. Were not there yet. We have a long way to go, but the chemistry and the leadership is all there. And thats what you need: a lot of experienced, veteran guys and everybody plays a role and everybody wants the same thing.

The Titans also signed defensive lineman Bennie Logan to join three-time Pro Bowler Jurrell Casey, DaQuan Jones and Austin Johnson in the middle. Logan, who has started 63 of 74 career games with Philadelphia and Kansas City Bengals Logan Woodside Jersey , was impressed by seeing the Titans in the AFC wild-card game Tennessee won last January against the Chiefs.

Even with Henry at running back, Titans general manager signed Dion Lewis away from New England as another option in the backfield. Three-time Pro Bowl tight end Delanie Walker says he loves looking around the offensive huddle in camp.

Its beautiful, Walker said. Youre going to have to focus on a lot of other people other than just No 82, so Im excited about it.

With all five starters back on the offensive line, general manager Jon Robinson still signed linemen with starting experience in Kevin Pamphile and Xavier Sua-Filo . Robinsons best work came in the secondary, signing cornerback Malcolm Butler after adding Logan Ryan as a free agent in 2017. Adoree Jackson, the 18th pick overall in 2017, started every game last year.

We have depth no doubt, Ryan said. I think everybody who is not starting right now wants to start, and I think the guys that wont make this team will make other teams.

NOTES: WR Rishard Matthews, recovering from an unspecified injury, was added to the physically unable to perform list. Orakpo (shoulder) Authentic Dante Pettis Jersey , Evans, TE Jonnu Smith, DL Claude Pelon (right knee) and TE Luke Stocker did not practice.

It didnt seem to matter much who was pitching against DJ LeMahieu. After striking out in his first at-bat, the Rockies leadoff hitter was as locked in as hes been all season.

Especially in the ninth inning when Colorado trailed.

LeMahieu hit a two-run homer in the ninth and set a career best with five RBIs as the Rockies rallied past the San Francisco Giants 9-8 on Thursday to snap a four-game losing streak.

It was a good one to win, LeMahieu said. I feel like weve been on the other end of that for the last couple of weeks so it was good to win that one late.

Nolan Arenado hit his 19th home run, tying him for the National League lead with Washingtons Bryce Harper. Trevor Story added three hits for Colorado, which had lost four straight at San Francisco.

The Rockies blew leads of 5-2 and 7-5 and were down 8-7 before scoring twice off closer Sam Dyson (2-2) to avoid a series sweep.

Chris Iannetta hit a leadoff single in the ninth and was replaced by pinch-runner Pat Valaika. After pinch-hitter Tom Murphy popped out, LeMahieu sent a full-count pitch from Dyson into the left-field stands.

Two nights earlier, Dyson got LeMahieu to ground into a game-ending double play with the tying run on base.

It was roughly where we wanted, Dyson said. I figured wed go (inside) like we did two nights ago. Just didnt get it far enough in there.

It was a big hit for a ballclub that had been 0-37 when trailing going into the ninth.

That was a big swing when the momentum shifted back to them in a big way, Rockies manager Bud Black said. It takes a special moment and a special swing to get it back on our side and DJ put a great swing on that ball. It was awesome.

LeMahieu had an RBI single as part of Colorados four-run fourth. His two-run single off Ty Blach in the seventh gave the Rockies a 7-5 lead.

Each of LeMahieus hits came off different pitchers.

He knows the opposition, he knows pitchers Authentic Customized Rams Jerseys , Black said. Hes as prepared as any player Ive been around.

Adam Ottavino (4-1) gave up two runs but retired three batters to win. Wade Davis pitched the ninth for his 22nd save.

All three games in the series were decided by one run.

Brandon Belt hit a two-run homer, Joe Panik had two hits and two RBIs while Pablo Sandoval and Andrew McCutchen also had two hits for San Francisco.

The Giants trailed most of the afternoon but took an 8-7 lead in the eighth when Alen Hanson doubled in two runs.

That was a hard fought game, San Francisco manager Bruce Bochy said. Tough one when you have a lead in the ninth and we couldnt hold on to it. Sam was just a little bit off.

Arenado homered off starter Chris Stratton in the first, his 10th this season in the opening frame.

It was also Arenados 10th career home run at AT&T Park, tying former Rockies infielder Troy Tulowitzki for second-most among visiting players. Arizonas Paul Goldschmidt has 11.

Neither starter factored in the decision and had nearly identical lines.

Stratton allowed five runs on eight hits in four innings. Colorados Jon Gray also gave up five runs in four innings but yielded seven hits with seven strikeouts.

BACK TO BACK

Giants catcher Nick Hundley threw out a pair of runners trying to steal second base in consecutive at-bats in the eighth. Story hit a leadoff single but was thrown out. Gerardo Parra then reached on an error but was quickly erased when he tried to take second

Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr, a noted Dodgers fan, attended the game and sat next to the Giants dugout, at one point reaching over to shake hands with Bochy.
